Please read the notes below prior to submitting your report. What am I asked to do when submitting a Prior Approval form?As required by University policy, you are being asked to submit a Prior Approval form before you engage engaging in certain specified types of activities ("Category I" activities, as defined in APM-025). The definition of "Category I" activities is provided in full in the APM-025 policy, but in general these activities include the following:

Why is this important?Compensated outside professional activity may raise the appearance, or the reality, of a conflict of commitment to the faculty members' University obligations.
